Not having visited Sifnos before we were delighted to be introduced to Christina. What a wonderfull tour we had. She gave us a flavour of this beautiful island, which she so obviously loves, and was a most informative and interesting guide. She led the tour at our pace taking us to a variety of fascinating villages, churches and viewpoints. She allowed for a scenic coffee stop in the medieval village of Kastro. Lunch was thoroughly enjoyed at the pretty harbourside village of Vathi where Christina ensured we sampled the best of local fare. I cannot recommend her tour service highly enough; she helped to make our stay in Sifnos very special.

There is so much on the island to see. Christina knows all this. She can bring the island to life for a visitor, whether for a late afternoon walk around Kastro or for an ouzo under a windmill. She is a Byzantine iconography expert. She knows all the places. She knows all the roads.

The island of Sifnos is gorgeous, but Sifnos Exprerience tours really showed me the ancient beauty below the surface. We walked paths that villagers have used for centuries. We learned the nuanced histories of landmarks like the Chrisopigi Monastery and Church of the Seven Martyrs. We also got immersed in the island’s unique cuisine and food culture. Every view has a story, and Christina is a wonderful storyteller. I highly recommend this tour!
